Military Contractors

Hardly a day goes by when we don't hear about another data breach or Ransomware affecting the US government or other institutions. US Military is a key target for cyber criminals, hacktivists and nation-state actors. Stolen data can be used to compromise national security. Cyber espionage targeting the U.S. military and defense industrial base cause hundreds of billions of dollars of losses of information and intellectual property each year. Criminals and adversaries can exploit the vulnerabilities in U.S. military systems and compromise their effectiveness in times of crisis and conflict.

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Management today announced a data breach involving the personal information of approximately 46,000 Veterans

To improve the cybersecurity posture and mitigate risk within the defense industrial base (DIB) supply chain the federal government working with cyber security experts developed the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC).The CMMC establishes five certification levels that reflect the maturity and reliability of a company's cybersecurity infrastructure to safeguard sensitive government information on contractors' information systems. The five levels are tiered and build upon each other's technical requirements. Each level requires compliance with the lower-level requirements and institutionalization of additional processes to implement specific cybersecurity-based practices.

Threat Monitoring and Penetration testing

"As a DoD prime contractor in aviation industry we needed a company who could help us with our Cybersecurity strategy per  CMMC requirement. Benchmark NS helped us achieve that goal quickly and economically."
